Self-custody since 2013

Take control of your crypto

Your keys belong on a device only you control. Trezor keeps them offline, so no platform, exchange or hacker can take what they cannot reach.

You have the login. They have the power.

An exchange account is an account someone else controls. With self-custody your keys are created on the device in your hand and never leave it, so nothing about your portfolio depends on a company's decisions.

Take control with Trezor

Everything you need to hold, move and grow your own crypto, without handing your keys to anyone. This is what self-custody actually looks like.

key

Own your keys

Your private keys are created on the device and stay there. No company, exchange or support desk can move your coins for you.

wifi_off

Keep them offline

Your keys never touch the internet. Nothing about them sits on a server waiting to be breached.

fact_check

Check every transaction

Every transaction appears on the Trezor screen and is confirmed there before it is signed, so what you approve is exactly what happens.

autorenew

Recover on your terms

Your recovery phrase restores everything to any Trezor. Lose the device, not the coins.

Which Trezor is yours?

Every model keeps your keys offline and yours. The difference is how you want to use them day to day.

We started the industry

Since 2013 we have built hardware wallets the same way: open source, independently verified, and designed so you never have to trust a company with your coins.

100% Independent

Trezor is not owned by an exchange or a fund. We answer to the people using these devices, not to a balance sheet.

Radically Open Source

Every line of firmware and every board layout is public. Thousands of people have checked the work, which is the only security claim worth making.

Rebels With A Cause

We have spent a decade arguing that you should not have to ask permission to hold your own money. We are still at it.

What Trezor users have to say

Why people moved their crypto off exchanges and onto a device they control.

"I moved everything off the exchange the week my account got frozen. Holding the keys myself is the only reason I slept that month."

Daniel R.
Trezor owner since 2019

"Setup took ten minutes and writing down the recovery phrase was the whole ceremony. Nothing clever to get wrong."

Priya N.
Trezor owner for 4 years

"I can check every address on the device screen. I no longer have to trust a browser or an app to show me the truth."

Marcus L.
Trezor owner since 2017

Independence is not given. It is taken.

Nobody hands you self-custody. You take it one decision at a time, and the tools you choose decide whether you keep it.

No one is watching

There is no authority to appeal to and no support desk to call. What protects you is what you can verify yourself.

link_off

Break the chains

A custodial account is a chain you do not hold. Self-custody is the only link in the system you actually control.

lock_open

A lock you own

A lock you do not hold the key to is not protection, it is permission. With Trezor the key is in your hand.

Your questions, answered

The things people ask before their first Trezor. If yours is not here, our support team answers in plain language.

A small device that stores the private keys to your crypto completely offline. You sign every transaction on it, so your keys are never exposed to an internet-connected computer or phone.

Your crypto lives on the blockchain, not on the device. The recovery phrase you wrote down at setup restores full access to any Trezor, so the device itself is replaceable.

No. Trezor is fully open source, so anyone can inspect the code and the hardware design. Your recovery phrase also works without Trezor software, so you are never locked in to us.

Safe 7 if you want a large colour touchscreen, wireless charging and Bluetooth. Safe 5 for a touchscreen at a lower price. Safe 3 for the simplest, most affordable way to hold your own keys.
